D1S-D3S Canbus Pro Universal ballast

For those customers who cannot afford an OEM replacement ballast, the CANBUS Pro universal ballast is perfect replacement as a budget alternative. The ballast comes built in with CANBUS support function.

Connecting a universal ballast usually requires to by-pass the factory ballast. Electrical knowledge is required to understand how by-pass can be done safely whilst still retaining some features.

It is to be noted that some features may not work such as high beam shutter operation with factory bi-xenon projector and this must 1st be verified as to what features may be retained or lost.

The ballast will have to be mounted outside the headlight usually and therefore care must be taken to ensure no leaks.
